Though public buses are available between the major towns in BHUTAN but the frequency is something that urgently needs immense improvement. On the other hand private transportation is available and can be considered better as regards to service providing to the travellers. In terms of accommodation BHUTAN in most of its towns provide varies type and in range of accommodation from real budget to 5* but the number of good and trusted ones are not that much. Although TOURISM is the second largest revenue earner in BHUTAN’s economy most strenuously and fortunately or unfortunately the administration of BHUTAN is quite crystal clear in its tourism policy as “HIGH VALUE LOW VOLUME”, and defend its policy on the ground that BHUTAN is just too small for mass tourism. Besides the importance of tourism in BHUTAN’s economy BHUTAN sees no gain in succumbing to over commercialism in this arena. BHUTAN recognises that a small country emerging from centuries of isolation must do so in its own time and at its own pace. Hence BHUTAN’s tourism policy “high value low volume” which enables BHUTAN to share its culture with the world and learn from visitors who seek a destination that is an anachronism in today’s global fast pace world. Truly BHUTAN is a land where life may not be materially luxurious and far away from the insanity of modern living but it provides much that is good for a society that is not yet caught up with the global rat race and really offer its visitors the real true essence of the raw and real nature to enjoy and explore.
